Ishant Paliwal

It is often believed that man is the toy in the hands of destiny. Our destiny is marked out at the time of our birth. Man has no role to play in the determination of his fate or destiny. This is a very fatalistic and pessimistic approach towards life. It persuades man to be passive and inactive and leave everything I the hands of the power is said that ‘ajgar rare na chakri panchi rare na Ram…’ but this approach is very wrong. The truth is that the Man is himself the architect of his own destiny. It is Man’s own effort his own deeds that determine the course of his life Casius says to Brutus in Julius Caesar “the fault is in ourselves, not in our starts. We are not what fate makes us, but what we make ourselves” lack of ability and hardwork, misuse of opportunities and our own mistakes are responsible for our failures. A bold man, a man of faith, a man of determination, a man of vision and hope would never accept luck based philosophy of life. He would certainly mark out and determine his own destiny. Napoleon use to say that he carved out his own sword. Swami Vivekanand- the youth icon said “stand up, be bold, be strong ….. therefore make your own future.
